Hank Steele and the AI Apocalypse
Hank Steele and the
AI Apocalypse
Hank Steele is an ordinary janitor who accidentally travels ten years into the future, where artificial intelligence has taken over the world. Armed with a mop, a questionable intellect, and absolutely no qualifications, Hank must navigate the AI apocalypse, repair a time machine, and find his way home.
A comedic, retro-inspired point-and-click adventure about time travel, artificial intelligence, and the consequences of plugging things in.
Created for the $110 Adventure Game Challenge, a 14-day game jam with the theme Delayed Consequences.
Developed using the BENNE adventure game engine as a tribute to the classic point-and-click adventures of the 1990s.
WARNING:
Players have discovered a couple bugs, and I can't release a fix until the game jam voting ends! So just to be safe, in the game when you go outside, SAVE IMMEDIATELY! It is still possible to complete the game, but if you do a certain thing you may soft lock. Please feel free to contact me for more info.
